Mock-Packing

I have been putting off my first blog post until I had something worth blogging about, today is that day. With most of my supplies purchased and weeks of mentally packing I decided to give it a trial run.  Thank you to everyone who contributed to my packing list, I love everything I received and am so excited to give all the cool things a new life in a foreign country. Here is a detailed packing list, I may be making a few minor adjustments before departure but for the most part this list is in stone.

Clothing

  • 1 pair jeans
  • 1 pair corduroy pants
  • 3 pairs dockers (2 khaki, 1 grey)
  • 4 short sleeve colored shirts (2 polo, 2 full button style)
  • 3 long dress shirts
  • 2 ties
  • 2 khaki shorts
  • 2 swim trunks
  • 1 speedo, 1 pair swim goggles (you never know)
  • 1 gym shorts
  • 4 gold toe socks/ 4 athletic socks
  • 2 belts (1 reversible brown/black, 1 Chaco belt)

  • 1 light Prana flannel (packing list said fleece jacket/lightweight jacket, not feeling fleece)

My bags are surprisingly empty, I though they were going to be a lot more full.  Maybe I can squeeze Dukers in my duffel bag.
